The amount you get will depend upon whether or not you live at home, your family income and where you study and you must meet the UK residency conditions. The interest rate on your loan is based on the Retail Price Index (RPI). The amount you will repay, begins to build up from the start of your course and will also be related to your earnings, after you graduate – you will not start paying until you earn at least ?25,000.
